I'm not in anyway supporting BDD Rulz post but 8 years in a row? Where are you getting this info? The longest winning streak Clintwood has had versus Haysi since 1980 is 5 years in a row from '86-'90.
Since 1990 the regular season series is tied at 8 wins a piece.
The times they are a' changing.
Who would have ever thought a once powerhouse school like JJ Kelly would have seasons of 0-10 and 1-9?
Clintwood may have to get to that place before they turn the tide again.

my mistake i was thinking clintwood had won all the meetings from 96-03 but there was a loss in 01 19-0 Haysi so it is 5 yrs at the most.

Well i know that im going to sound like a sore loser who is try to make excuses but the tigers have one of the dirtiest players that i ever saw. #7 (dont know his name) would take you after the ref blew the whistle and wasnt looking and throw you to the ground. Then when you get up he is standing there like nothing happened. It happened to everyone one of our recievers tonight not just me. The refs shouldve called the penalty or something.

I just read your posts and dude I have to admit thats just sad to get on here and be a baby like that. You may not know his name but you should probably just go ahead and call him daddy if you let him spank you like that and didn't do anything about it except get on here and cry a handfull. You might want to ask yourself if football is really a sport you should be playing. There are other non-contact sports available like golf and tennis that might suit you better if you don't like getting roughed up. C'mon don't embarrass your school and teammates like that...take your spanking like a man and come back next week and be the whipper instead of the whippee.

I'm not trying to be overly critical and ofcourse I still haven't reffed my first HS game yet but it certainly wasn't the best. Question #1: When did offensive pass interference become a loss of down penalty? Question #2: How can you have a defensive pass interference on a deflected pass? Question #3: Is it an incomplete pass when the QB loses the ball while he is bringing it back and then slaps it forward with his forearm after he has already lost possession?
There were also some questionable calls that went against Clintwood as well but thats just a few blatant ones I noticed that went against Haysi. None of the calls against either team affected the outcome of the game but #3 caused it to be a 34-21 game instead of 41-13.
Now when did i say that i didnt like getting hit? I already said that i wouldnt have cared if he did that when it was before the whistle but it is just cheap and dirty when you do that to everyone of our recievers whenever you got the chance.

Yep you can jump all you want, but of course just realize that you see pretty much all the people from Clintwood being nice and complimenting Haysi. No excuses. Of course we're all such bad sports and sore losers, its truely amazing to see that.
I won't say anything bad about the Haysi fans, for every one that was saying losers, how does it feel to lose again Wave at the players as we walked back to the locker room, there was 2-3 saying good job, way to battle and being nice. Just like every place, they have their good and bad, and unfortunately it looks like at least one bad (or supposedly one) has found the forum.
What we've got here is failure to communicate. Some men you just can't reach, so you get what we had here last week which is the way he wants it. Well, he gets it.
You're right on most of those calls..I can honestly say I'm not sure about the offensive pass interference being a loss of down. I actually thought it was that, but hey maybe it's not. One of the refs can probably clarify that.
As for the batted ball, I think someone clarified that one too, although I forget what they said, but I'll try to ask and see what it was. It may have just been a wrong call but I think they said why it was called as opposed to it normally not being called.
The third one, sorry man I disagree with you on that one, his arm was going forward as the ball slipped out. I know from your vantage point you'll say otherwise, and I'll say from mine which was directly in front of the play, and since it was on our sideline, and he's a right handed quarterback meaning his arm and motion was towards me, he was coming forward as it slipped out. As he completed the motion yes his arm hit it but it wasn't like he was swinging at a gnat either.
One thing that I think Haysi either does really well and/or takes advantage of is there coming to the line and snapping immediately. There was more than a few times that people weren't set before the play started. Truthfully, that's probably smart as you do really give your team less chance to jump offsides. I thought it was funny when the whistle or the horn (I forget which it was now, I think a whistle) and the player was flying forward because he was used to doing it so quickly.
There was some bad calls, and some both ways, but I won't dare say officials decided the game.
And as for Timmy, when you're probably the smallest guy on the field, you're going to be a target. Timmy takes some good shots most of the time. I haven't seen him gripe about being hit before, so I'll give him the benefit of the doubt on it. He is the one who would know if he was or wasn't being hit after. I can honestly say I didn't see it happen much, I seen a few close ones, but that really didn't matter much. I don't think Haysi was anywhere close to the dirtiest team I've seen. It's part of the game, Tim. After the first time, all you do is tell the official on your side. If it happens again, tell him again. Keep it up until he does something about it. If he doesn't call it, it's not a foul.
